Scholarships
The following scholarships are awarded annually on a competitive basis. Please contact the Office of the Dean for information regarding applications and deadlines.
Gladys Johnson Endowed Scholarship
For students majoring in Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics and who have received no less than an A average in all their chemistry, mathematics and physics courses. This scholarship is not need based.
Styczen Endowed Scholarship
For worthy third and fourth year students majoring in science who show promising scholastic achievement but are lacking funds.
David C. and Betty S. Hess Endowed Scholarship
For students majoring in Biology or Physics. Based on academic merit (a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better) and a demonstrated financial need.
Harold M. and Beverly Jackson Agnew Endowed Scholarship
For students majoring in the Natural Sciences or Mathematics. Based on academic merit (a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better) and a demonstrated financial need.
Theresa James Endowed Scholarship
For students majoring in the Natural Sciences or Mathematics. Based on scholastic achievement.
Charles E. and Ann A. Burgesser Endowed Scholarship
For students majoring in Biological Sciences. Based on academic merit (a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better) and demonstrated financial need.

Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship
The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship Program was created to encourage outstanding students to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering and to foster excellence in those fields. Deadline for submission of all materials for the Goldwater Scholarship is January 15, 2010 to the Office of the Dean. More information
Morris K. Udall Foundation
The Morris K. Udall Foundation is dedicated to educating a new generation of Americans to preserve and protect their national heritage through studies in the environment and Native American health and tribal public policy.
